Starting 2021, the permanent building for the Bius Gu Barat village office, Parmaksian sub-district, Toba district, has finally been completed and is ready to be occupied to carry out community administration activities. Construction of the village office building assisted by PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk (TPL) is a program of Community Development (CD).
The condition of the Bius Gu Barat village office, which has been established since 2009, was previously not permanent and was only built using wood. The head of Bius Gu Barat Village, Burhanuddin Sirait, said previously that the village office building was no longer suitable for use. The physical condition of the old village office building, the wood is starting to wear out and only has a cement floor that is no longer maintained.
“The old building is no longer suitable for use, making it difficult to serve the community. We thank PT Toba Pulp Lestari, now the Bius Gu Barat sub-district office is more suitable and comfortable to use. With this development, hopefully all activities that will take place here will be made easier,” said Burhanuddin.
Now the new village office building stands firmly with a permanent model and white tiled floor. The new building for community service in Bius Gu Barat village, which was built with green paint, is ready to serve about 368 families who live in Bius Gu Barat village.
“We would like to thank PT Toba Pulp Lestari for caring about Bius Gu Barat village. Now our village office is more beautiful and more comfortable to carry out activities,” said Manombang Sirait as a community member who also witnessed the handover of the village office building.
Ramida Siringoringo as CD Manager and also a representative of the Management of PT Toba Pulp Lestari said the construction of the village head office was a form of the company’s attention to community service activities.
“The construction of the village head office is expected to assist village officials in improving administrative services to the people who come. We hope that the condition and cleanliness will continue to be maintained, for convenience in serving the village community,” said Ramida.
